LIQUID FUND UNIT TRUST SCHEME

FUND OBJECTIVE

The fund is designed to provide an alternate investment opportunity for investors to park their funds for short, medium to long-term duration at competitive returns and liquidity.

LIQUIDITY/SALE OF UNITS.

Partial/full repurchase is allowed and is processed within three (3) working days.

ELIGIBLE INVESTORS

All individual & non-individual (joint holders, institutions & groups) Tanzanians.

INVESTMENT POLICY

The portfolio shall comprise money market and debt instruments by 100%.

SCHEME FEATURES

• Single and joint holders are permitted.
• The minimum amount for initial investment is TZS 100,000.
• The minimum amount for additional investment is TZS 10,000.
• There is neither entry nor exit load.
• The fund allows the transfer of units from one investor to another.
• In the event of the death of a unit holder, the survivor, joint holder, or nominee shall be permitted to become the unit holder.
• Units may be used as collateral against loan facilities by financial institutions.
• There is no limit on the maximum amount to be invested.

SCHEME BENCHMARK

• 7 years treasury bond Weighted Average Yield (WAY).
